Steph

Chartered Physiotherapist

Qualification: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (King’s College London) · Chartered Physiotherapist · HCPC registered

Area covered: Cambridgeshire — covering Cambridge and  Peterborough

Steph is a skilled physiotherapist with over ten years’ experience in clinical settings across the NHS and the community. She lives in Peterborough and spent six years with the local NHS trust that runs Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital — so she knows the wards, the discharge teams and the area her patients are coming home to.

She has particular experience in medicine for older people, falls prevention, stroke rehabilitation, paediatric musculoskeletal care and dysfunctional breathing, and is certified in the Buteyko breathing method. While working in hospital she started a ward-wide movement to get patients out of bed and moving more every day — an approach she brings to every home visit: doing with people, not for them, and treating the whole person rather than a single problem.

“Working as a physio with and alongside people at a time in their life when they’re experiencing challenges is extremely fulfilling, and being able to support them through that journey is a real privilege.”
