Kenny Butler

Kenny has 30 years’ experience as a physiotherapist and physical activity specialist, with a particular interest in working with older people, active ageing, musculoskeletal disorders and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He has worked across Canada, the United States and the UK.

Alongside clinical work he spent eleven years at ukactive, the UK’s national body for physical activity, leading health and wellbeing development and working with the NHS, local authorities and charities. He has co-authored published work on ageing and physical activity for the British Medical Journal, the British Journal of General Practice and ukactive, and led two government-funded Healthy Ageing programmes through UKRI Innovate UK.
