Paula Cox

Paula has worked as a physiotherapist for 25 years in the NHS, working across many areas in acute and rehab settings. The focus of her work has been in neurological rehabilitation, and for the past 16 years she has worked in Community Neuro-rehab. She has experience working with a diverse range of patients with neurological conditions including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, MS and other rare neurological conditions. Many have highly complex needs, and Paula uses a holistic approach to meet patients’ individualised goals with a wide range of skills including exercise, gait re-education, aquatic therapy, posture and seating advice, modified Pilates and orthotic provision. Paula is also an accredited Aquatic Therapist, delivering water-based therapy in hydrotherapy pools and leisure centres.
