Jessica has worked both privately and in the NHS since 2004. She has spent a lot of time working with patients after orthopaedic elective surgery, both immediately after the operation helping them get back on their feet as well as months down the line making sure they’re getting back to what they enjoy pain free. More recently she has been working in 3D gait analysis exploring altered walking patterns, working as part of a team to find ways to improve their gait and optimise function. Jess is used to working with children and adults. She has a lot of experience working with children with special educational needs and builds rapport and trust easily.
“I love helping to put a smile back on the patient’s faces. Whether its after a period in hospital, surgery or just to help someone move and feel better I always make sure we set realistic goals. While I like to make every session a challenge, I also love to have fun with my patients too and I’ll bring a bucket load of encouragement to every session.”
Interesting fact:
I’m a total clean freak! I genuinely love cleaning; I find it calming. Plugged into some music and I’m at my happiest!
